LiliO Partners with News Network Anthropospohy (NNA)

The NNA began providing hosting services in 1998 to support the new anthroposophical news service website www.nna-news.org. At that time, hosting a website was quite expensive. So to defray the costs, the NNA offered hosting services to other anthroposophical organizations in England. Over the years, this grew to 31 domains that the NNA hosted and was responsible for maintaining. In reassessing their long term goals, Stuart Brown and Christian van Arnim, the co-founders of NNA, decided to focus on the core activity of providing an anthroposohical news service in both English and German and transfer the hosting and support service to someoe else.

Transferring hosting and support

Stuart approached LiliO Design and asked whether we were interested in taking over responsibility for their sites. We were more then happy to, of course, and we spent one day in England meeting with both Stuart and Christian finalizing the details of the agreement.

"LiliO has a good understanding of those working on the Internet and the needs of Anthroposophical Organisations - providing both a web and email hosting service and a web site design and creation service," writes Stuart in his email to NNA hosting customers.

Stuart continues, "In the websites LiliO have created for customers, I have been particularly impressed by their use of the Typo3 content management system in making it easy for web site users to manage the content of their own sites without needing to know about the underlying technology, editing the site content directly over the web."

Responsible from June 1st

As of June 1st, LiliO has taken over all hosting support requests and financial responsibilities from the NNA.
